Hello I am looking forward to having this experience.  I am connected with a lot of tools but I feel that I am not connected... Hmmm so I expect to find out how to get connected and be connected in order to expand my network. I do have a question about the live sessions - will they be archived in case we cannot make it. Thanks and hope to 'see' you all tonight.

Was just taking a look at the class wiki, and at the link to the video (http://www.brainshark.com/blackboardinc/vu?pi=zGLzYw5XBz35Sgz0 )about Blackboard Collaborate in preparation for tonight's session. Perhaps it's just me, but I'm seeing some interactions with my choice of browser. At least on my Mac, it runs fine in Chrome and Safari but misbehaves in Firefox. If anyone out there has similar problems, first suggestion: try a different web browser.

I am so sorry does it say Mountain Standard Time? I will switch that....

I mean today's time - Mountain Daylight Time - 7PM 19:00 tonight in Calgary AB

@William A. Beasley Try clicking on the link for tonight to see if that works with your browser. It's on the Week 1 Main Page and the Home Page in the course. The room is open. You can look around, you just can't do anything - until I get there :)

Hello from Maine, USA. Thanks for this wonderful (and free!) professional development opportunity. I'm already experiencing what my students must feel as I send them here and there across the web and then expect them to synthesize what they've learned. I'll try to keep up!

Wow! So many interesting people! I feel like a new teacher on her first day of school - odd in July in Canada. Thank you all for adding your introductions!

Hello Everybody,

I too am looking forward to this course but may be in and out as I am moving into a friend's house for the next 10 days and don't know if I'll have reliable internet access.

I logged into the first session and even after running the set-wizard for audio & video I could neither hear nor see anything...frustrating...I have participated in a MOOC before and did not have this issue.  I will step back into the session and see if anything has changed.
