Hello everyone. I am an online teacher and course developer. I now live in The USA but I teach for a school in Malaysia. We are becoming an iPad school this fall. I have been given the responsibility to develop a new course called 21st Century Computing. I hope this course will provide information for my new course.

Please! Could somebody tell me 7pm MST what time is in Greece?

Comment by Jerónimo Martínez on July 5, 2012 at 6:21am

Greece now is in GMT+3 so 7:00PM MST = 5:00 AM in Greece!!!!

Are you an early riser o (like) will try to follow videocasts?

Comment by Jerónimo Martínez on July 5, 2012 at 6:23am

Just a correction: you're 10 hours ahead so

July, 5 - 07:00 PM MST = July 6, 05:00 AM GMT+3

Just joined up. I know a few things in this area but am looking to learn a great deal more! I teach K-12 teachers to use the Net in their work, so am looking for techniques and tools useful to them as well as to myself.

Hello from Illinois!  I am a nurse in an awesome Online Teaching and Learning Certificate program.  I am not particularly tech savvy, so I'm sure I'll learn a lot!

Looking forward to this journey....hope I can keep up since I am also in TIS training!

Verena, just confirming -- you're really operating on Mountain Standard Time as opposed to Mountain Daylight Time? (I'm trying to get the conversion right for Eastern Daylight Time.)

Looking forward to this!  I teach information literacy to college students and am looking forward to sharing what I learn here with them.  They seem to live on Facebook, but I'm not sure they understand the importance of taking control of your digital footprint.  Ditto for my two teenage children who, I hope, will join me here occasionally.  Thanks for putting this out there and inviting us to join.
