Short Session Description (one line): in this session, we'll explore a method for writing goals to guide your homeschooling.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Writing goals for your child's homeschooling journey can be very useful. Goals direct your choice in curriculum materials. They help you make decisions when faced with more than one resource or class. They guide how you apportion your time on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis. While they serve as “driving directions” for your learning, they are like their transportation counterparts in that they may change due to the reality of construction and new development. In that sense, homeschooling goals are also flexible, you can change and adapt them as needed. Writing goals is kind of like writing haiku: you don’t use too many words, but the ones you do use pack a punch. In this session we'll discuss one method for writing goals and practice writing some sample goals.
