Full Session Description (as long as you would like):  

While Open Educational Resources are not easily transportable to classroom curriculum, they are very powerful in individualizing instruction for students. The challenges to adopting them include identification of OER and understanding its relevance (quality control).  This session will highlight open educational resources in English language arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Special education and Engineering for K-12 students that are highly suited for indivualizing instruction.

Presented by an educator and a parent with mulish passion in Pedagogy, the goal of this session is to break down a few buzz words and leave the the audience better equipped to handle the abundance of OER.
